    so since the 15/4/25, the plugin has been causing some issues.

    when I scan the barcode for tracking and select the courier, the page reloads, but the tracking is not being shown. im assuming that the confirmatiion email with the tracking number is also not being sent to the customer?

    please can someone help me.

    Hi @icecream113,

    Thanks for reaching out.

    We haven’t made any recent changes in the plugin version released on April 15th that affect how tracking is added. This issue might be caused by a conflict with another plugin.

    To troubleshoot, please try deactivating all other plugins except AST and WooCommerce, then test the tracking functionality again. If the issue is resolved, reactivate your plugins one by one to identify the conflict.

    I have already done the above, I have also asked for a developer to have a look at my site, and am told it’s a plugin issue.

    how can I resolve this?

    in order to add the tracking number, I need to scroll to the bottom, for to ‘add notes’, scan the tracking here, and then copy and paste to the ‘shipment tracking’ section.

    previously, we would scan the bar code here, and customer would be sent their tracking number email.

    Hi @icecream113,

    In the latest version of the plugin, we removed the “add tracking on order update” feature, which might be why you’re seeing this change in behavior. We’re planning to reintroduce this functionality in the next plugin update.

    In the meantime, please continue using the “Shipment Tracking” section to add tracking numbers manually. Let us know if you’d like us to notify you once the update is released.

    was there a reason this was removed, adding this manually wastes more time than scanning.

    when can we expect an update please? hopefully soon?

    Hi @icecream113,

    No, there wasn’t any specific reason behind removing this functionality.

    We’re already working on it and plan to release an updated version with this feature restored by the end of this week.
