Trailing Slash Issue

This plugin seems perfect for our use, except one thing, omitting the trailing slash on a request will fail to redirect, instead displaying the 404 page. Is there a solution? Appears someone else has asked this question before:

Unless I’m missing something, perhaps you could just wrap the the call to wp_redirect() in another call to trailingslashit(). Maybe I just missed a setting/option somewhere?
