    Hello !

I currently have an online store (posting on a forum related to WooCommerce, chances are) and would like to create a Coupon Code (so far, no problem for me), just I would have liked to know if there had an option to return the coupon reduction amount to a third-party bank account. Indeed, this is happening within the framework of a collaboration where I would like to directly remunerate the party concerned up to the amount of the reduction of the coupon compared to the purchase price

Is there an option or plug-in that you are aware of that can perform this or a similar action? If not, in each case, what would you advise me?

At the same time, I wanted to ask you if you knew if the sales made with a certain discount coupon could be traced, recorded, through some kind of history?

Knowing the amount of purchases linked to this coupon could be an alternative for me to find out about the possible amount to be returned

Thank you in advance for your future responses

I wish you a nice day,

    Kind regards,

    Hello !

I just post so that my question could emerge

Hopefully someone has some answers !

    Hello @toad1010 ,

    Thanks for reaching out!

The first idea about sending the coupon amount to a different account requires custom work. Out of the box, WooCommerce does not include this feature and I could not locate a specific plugin that does this.

This is a fairly complex development topic. I’m going to leave it open for a bit to see if anyone is able to chime in to help you out.

I can also recommend the WooCommerce Developer Resources Portal for resources on developing for WooCommerce.

You can also visit the WooCommerce Facebook group or the #developers channel of the WooCommerce Community Slack. We’re lucky to have a great community of open-source developers for WooCommerce, and many of our developers hang out there, as well.

If you need a paid solution, you can consider taking help from one of our partner’s website.

About coupon reports, WooCommerce holds history about coupon usage in the order under WooCommerce > Reports > Orders > Coupons by date. You can learn more details here – https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/reports/#section-5

    Thank you 🙂

    Hello !

Thanks very much four your very detailed and explanatory answer !

    I totally understand !

    Thanks very much !

Regarding the Coupon History, just to be sure, if I filter by Coupon Code and I look at the discounts in total, would it exactly be the total of remainders left induced by the Coupon Code reduction ?
That is to say for example, if a sale is 30$ and the Coupon Code offers a 15% reduction, let’s say there is another sale like this one, the discounts in total would be 9$ (4,5$ + 4,5$) for this one Coupon Code ?

Thanks very much for your future answer !

    Hello @toad1010 ,

    You have got it right.

When you are filtering by coupon code, it will show the total discount that has been offered by that coupon in a given time frame. It says discounts in total so the total discount is being showed – https://prnt.sc/1140m1m

I hope this clears the confusion.

    Thank you 🙂
