• Hello,

Hello, my business is at a complete holt because of this problem. I’ve been trying to figure out how to change the slightest detail.

I have an error with the billing detail, the transaction detail as it’s called in my merchant gateway. (Its the data sent to be charged by the visa processor when an order is placed)

My woocommerce is giving my credit company duplicate first names. Not a first and a last? I have Booster plugin and have messed with all the fields and have not come up with a solution. I can’t have a double first name sent to my card processor.

I also would like to manage those fields my self. For future reference a lot of companies use this information for invoices and mailers and would, like no control that information.

It looks like some kind of bug in the code. Or perhaps when I first opened woocommerce for my website I may have opened a field wrong. How do I adjust the fields submitted to the credit processor?

I have a screenshot if anyone is curious I just do not know how to submit them. On to the forum.

Any help would be extremely appreciated. At this point it’d be worth hundreds of dollars, if I can’t fix it by next week my business will be out several thousand dollars.

My whole business is at a stand still because of this one little bug. Anyone please help!

    Adam

  • It sounds as if you have misconfigured Booster. Did you try deleting the plugin. Delete, not deactivate, because if its been coded well deleting should completely remove Booster settings. Then reinstall and go through the setting again. Usually easier second time around.

Or you could try the Booster support forum:

Hey I figured it out myself. I had to dig through the file system manually and change code myself. The error in the code was in the gateway plugin I downloaded. A few file systems deep in the plugin folder, I found the php responsible for what is sent to the credit companies to process. It had first_name listed twice. I switched it to last_name.

Fixed the code myself, and with help from my brother. We spent most of a day digging through the menus and then the file systems. Maybe this post can help someone with the similar problem. Check your gateway plugin for errors submitted to your card processing company.

We used Winscp to enter the file systems to change the code manually.
