Transfer site (with same URL) from WordPress.com to ww.wp.xz.cn

    Hi Everyone,

    I hope you can help me. I’m trying to transfer my site (www.megaworld-makaticbd.com) from wordpress.com to ww.wp.xz.cn.

    So far, here are the steps I took:
    Imported my wordpress.com site
    Registered the existing domain (www.megaworld-makaticbd.com) to bluehost
    Installed wordpress to the domain

    I got the username and password to http://www.megaworld-makaticbd.com/wp-admin
    but whenever I click on the link, i get redirected to log in to wordpress.com. How can I fix it?

    Your domain name is currently working- shows a Bluehost site. If there is a redirect, what do you have set up on Bluehost?

    Also be sure you are clearing your browser cache and cookies.

    Thank you for responding. There is no redirect now. Over the last 10 hours, I figured out how to transfer the site. What I did was change the name servers from wordpress.com, then i got to finally log in to the wp-admin from ww.wp.xz.cn! 🙂
