Transfering from wix to wordpress

So I own my own domain through Godaddy: melissamanwill.com
I used to point that domain to wix. But I’ve deleted it from wix and removed the premium from it. As far as wix is concerned, it has nothing to do with that domain anymore. I’ve also repointed the domain back to Godaddy on godaddy’s website itself.

I bought the wordpress hosting through godaddy and did the wordpress one click install. That was about 18 hours ago. Sometimes, when I click on the link godaddy provides to go to my wordpress admin panel, it works.

BUT, half the time, I get a wix error asking me if I’m trying to connect to my domain. I am thoroughly confused.

And occasionally, I get an error from wordpress telling me that I don’t have hosting and I need premium.

I am completely new to all of this, I know 0 coding or technical lingo, so you’ll have to talk to me like the noob I am. Thank you 🙂
