I tested the free version of your plugin on a clone of my live site, then bought & installed the Pro version on my live website.

I had saved the (free) plugin’s settings (Advanced Settings, Backup and Import Settings area) on my cloned site & tried to transfer them to my live install via the same Advanced Settings, Backup and Import Settings area.

But the data I copied & pasted into my live install has not changed the settings on my live install.

Please advise what I should do to get my imported settings applied to my live install

    Thanks in advance

    Hi,

When you upgrade from the free plugin to the premium version, all settings from the free version should automatically migrate to the premium version. Typically, this process works seamlessly.

Could you please try deactivating the Pro version, then activating the free version, and after that reactivating the Pro version again? This can help ensure the migration of settings.

If you are still facing the issue, we kindly request you to raise a support ticket through our website. Our technical team will be happy to look into this further and assist you.

    Thank you!

    Many thanks for your reply.

I did not install the free version on my live site before installing the pro version on it. Do I need both versions on my live site, or is the Pro version enough?

(if just the Pro version is enough, maybe I will just manually create my settings in that, rather than installing the free version if it is not really needed for normal functionality)

    Hi,

Thank you for letting us know.

To transfer the settings from the free version to the Pro version, you’ll first need to install and activate the free version on your live site. Once activated, the settings migration process should run and copy your existing configuration over to the Pro version.

After confirming that the settings have been successfully applied, you can safely deactivate the free version, there’s no need to keep both versions active for normal functionality.
