    Hello,

I successfully embedded a google spreadsheet as a link on my WordPress homepage. However, the WordPress table did not transfer my spreadsheet’s hyperlinks. I’m aware that this Google Docs plugin automatically transfers websites and email addresses. But I want to transfer a website link that is displayed by different text.

For example, WordPress currently transfers the link http://www.verylongwebsiteaddress.com. But I’d like WordPress to display “Click Here” and then send me to the link “www.verylongwebsiteaddress.com”

What I’ve tired and hasn’t worked for me:
    1) The hyperlink with “Click Here” in google spreadsheets
    2) Disabling WordPress linkify function and then manually entering html code in google spreadsheet cell _Text Here_

I’d appreciate any direction you can offer. I’m a newbie at coding and WordPress!

    Thanks!

Sorry, what you are trying to do (use custom HTML code in a Google Spreadsheet in order to appear as HTML on your WordPress page) is not supported intentionally for security purposes.

Good to know about the security precaution, thanks. Is there another way, then, to transfer a hyperlink?

No, that’s the point. If there is a way to do what you’re trying to do, it’s a bug, not a feature.
