    Greetings!
Like the plugin, and now the customer wants to use and get a code NOW before the site is ready. But I’m operating on a development site, how can I get the same settings back if the plugin gets transferred? These guys want the image now, but I can’t guarantee it’ll be the right one later.

Is the “Key” in the settings the unique identifier?

    Hi, thanks for your message.

The QR Code image generated by the plugin includes the current site’s URL and the associated key. So users scanning the code will always be sent to that exact URL.

Depending on your setup, there may be ways to work around the issue. For example, is the production domain (not necessarily the full site) already active? Could you set up a temporary redirect from the production site to the development URL?

Let me know more about your case and we can suggest a better approach.
