    Are there any parameters that can adjust the transition effect? I’d prefer a less abrupt transition between images, or if that’s not possible, at least be able to specify a static background image to display during the switch.

    Hi,

    Those features are available in the PRO version of the plugin, you will be able to change the duration before the transition effect and the transition speed as well.

    If you need a static image / static background color behind the transition, it wasn’t plan but you can wrap your shortcode in a div and apply some CSS to this wrapper.

    PS : The PRO version isn’t mandatory if you want to add the static image/color as mentionned above.

    Do not hesitate to contact me if you have some difficulties to do this little CSS trick.
