Sorry that you ran into issues here!
Yes, we definitely support translations–in fact, we include many of them with the core plugin under the /languages directory.
We have an article about how to activate and use a translation file here: http://businessdirectoryplugin.com/quick-start-guide/#translate
Did you follow all of the steps in there?
If you did, can you please post a screenshot of where you uploaded the translation file and it’s full name in your web server?

Hi Estcos,
Ah–OK, I see the issue here.
In the article above, we mention that not all of the strings you need to translate are in the PO file. Looks like you got that activated successfully, though.
The ones you’re missing are the labels under Directory Admin->Manage Form Fields. Each field needs to be translated under there.
The article points out a few other places as well (like the emails we send out). Be sure to get them too.
