Which theme do you use?
I have seen this happen on the Kle theme.
Is it possible you email me a zipfile of the theme? You can email it to [email protected]
My client use https://themeforest.net/item/edupro-professional-wordpress-education-theme/17591912 but I don’t have the zip of the theme. Is it required ? I can ask my client.

Strangely enough I don’t see this happening anymore on Kleo theme.
Shall I ask that you become validator for French? Then you can translate the strings in GlotPress. That might work better for you than Loco Translate.
