translate a plugin

    Hi,

    I’m trying to translate a plugin (marketpress lite ) in italian using poedit. I tried editing the mp-default.po file, but when I click “export catalog” and go back to my site nothing has changed.

    Does anybody know why ?

    Solved.

    need to modify the .po file name from mp-default.po to the language defined in wp-config.php ( in the wordpress’ root folder ).

    For example mp-default.po ===> mp-it_IT.po

    now it works.
