Hi zorensen,
That’s a simple question with a complex answer 🙂
Wishlist defines endpoints to generate different views on the same page; this endpoints are stored just one time, on first installation of the plugin, and they aren’t updated anymore
Besides, all direct calls to get wishlist url / choose wich view we’re printing, use simple comparison with string literal that contains searched endpoint
What I’m trying to explain you is that we should change plugin code very deeply to let admins translate endpoint; besides, I’m not sure this can actually work without forcing a flush of rewrite rules within every update of the translation
I’ll check the code, and create a branch in our repository to examine the chance to make our endpoint translatable (maybe I can check how WooCommerce handle this situation 🙂 )
Please, stay tuned for any further update on this problem
Have a nice day 🙂
What happened with this issue? I, too, would like to translate this endpoint, because it looks very awkward in the URL.
Thanks!
