Translate widget on language switcher

On our social media bar, we have a language switcher and I want to replace the FRANCAIS with a google translate widget. I have downloaded the Google Language Translator plugin, but upon activation I received the warning that it will disturb the XML Sitemap if I continue. I also read that this will mess up the CEO results.

Is there any more or less simple solution to only exchange the name FRANCAIS for the google widget? I´ve seen it on another website, but can´t recall where.

I have already duplicated all English pages to the French version and added a google translator widget as a page item on the menu of the French duplicate for the time being. This works, but is not optimal, since visitors will have to click French first, even though, they speak another language. So will probably not check it at all.

We will still translate the content properly, however, this will take some time. Until then, I hope you can help!? Thanks!
