Sorry i am not familiar with how Polylang works so i am not sure but the plugin has translation files so if that plugin reads it (similar to how wpml or loco translate does it) it should work.
Have in mind though that not all the strings are translatable yet as it is still a work in process but if you need to translate a particular text that is still not available please let me know and i will add it.
