translating a string

Hello, i want to translate the string:
“Sorry, but nothing matched your search terms. Please try again with different keywords.”

i have download the oceanwp.pot file from the theme languages folder, and used poedit to make the translation, i saved the files with the en_US.po and en_US.po and uploaded them to the languages folder inside the oceanwp theme folder, but nothing changes, i’m using the oceanwp child theme..

what i am doing wrong?
