How to translate my own plugin with GlotPress

    Hi,

    I wrote a small plugin and wanted to test the translation via the webinterface of the wordpress plugin repository. I usually use POT files fot the translation of my plugin.

    So I submitted the translation of all strings from english to german. The later is my native language. Then I clicked on approve and was greeted with the message:

    “You are not allowed to do that!”

    Why is a plugin author not allowed to translate their own plugins? I could do this via POT files if I wanted to. Any explanation?
