Unfortunately that’s impossible in CyberSyn, because it uses the original (untranslated) post title with titles of all existing posts in the database to make sure the post is unique. If the title will be translated after that, the unique name will be lost.
Couldnt you code it to translate the post title before the post is created?
In theory yes, but on practice that’s not a good idea. The post title is being checked for duplicates before it will be translated. Just imagine there are 100 posts in the feed and every post title is being translated via 3rd-party service before the plugin will find out it’s already in the database and there is no need to translate and add it. It will take too much time (probable the plugin will not be able to process all articles in the feed) and the API request limit at 3rd-party translation services will exceed very fast.
Yes I do see your point – but now imagine how much time it takes me to manually go in and edit all the links and translate them via the web UI of translate.google.com and the web UI of WP. It also forces me to put all posts as drafts before i edit the link and post manually.
To combat duplicates you could put an index counter on the end if post is a duplicate. https://example.com/%post_name%-%index%
Im proposing this as an option only. I mean whats the point of offering all this automation if it translates 99% of the content, leaving the permalink un-translated.
The index counter is even worse idea. What’s about posts titled like “game-walk-thru-part-1”, “game-walk-thru-part-2” etc?
I’m sorry but no, the current method is the only way to do it with CyberSyn. On the other hand it can be done with CyberSEO, which has a possibility of post-processing of all post items.
As alternative I can suggest you to use special 3rd-party plugins which allow you to customize post permalinks. E.g. https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/permalinks-customizer/ and others.
