• Hello,

I started to translate Popup Maker to Hungarian. When I’m done I would like to send you the .po file as maybe other users will need it too.

However I did not find any information about the name of the translated .po file. I already tried a few variations but I guess none of them was good because the plugin did not find the translated .po file.

Thank you for your help and for the great plugin!

    Best regards,

    Peter

@honlapcentrum – We have actully tried to make this as simple as possible for our translators. Have you seen this https://ww.wp.xz.cn/support/topic/looking-for-translators-2?replies=2

You can add your own language there since Hungarian is not in the list yet and I will get you approved quickly. I believe we may be able to upload your existing .po to the system as well to jump start your language. This allows collaborative translation and management for us and you.

The naming convention should be popup-maker-hu_HU.po & popup-maker-hu_HU.mo.

You must include the .mo file not the .po file for translations to work. .po files are for use in further translating, .mo files are what WP reads to process translations for rendering.

@honlapcentrum – I see you requested the Hungary language. I have approved it. If you send me your .po files I believe I can upload your existing work into the system. You may be able to as well if you explore a bit in transifex db. I know its there somewhere. I have emailed their support to find out about importing those there.

Thanks for your support. We greatly appreciate it.
