translating portfolio items

    Sort of a noob question, but I searched and couldn’t find an answer, so here it goes…

    Im wondering what the best strategy for translating portfolio items is. In the case of standard pages, I create the new language version, paste all the code form the original one, save it, and then start editing the contents, replacing origial text with the translated one.

    I have tried to duplicate this method when translating portfolio items, but I can only paste the text contents, not the images in the portfolio gallery, which I have to do it manually. Some galleries have plenty of images wchih can be tedious.

    Is there a faster or better way of doing this?
    BTW, I am using Unicon theme.
