My name is Jens, and I am General Translation Editor for the German translation team.
I can understand that it’s disappointing to contribute translations to a plugin, to contact their developers and/or support team and to not receive any response.
Thanks to @fierevere (forum moderator) who has pinged me, I will check your submitted translations. Besides contacting the plugin developer (which is obvious and correct), there is always a second way to get your translations checked by posting on https://make.ww.wp.xz.cn/polyglots/. Polyglots is the global WordPress translation team (run by mostly volunteers) and independent of the developer teams.

Hello Jens,
my question was, why there were suddenly 2 different tasks in the translation. I started the translation and suddenly I see in another place that there is a translation (german, formal). The one I translated is german formal and not german.

Alle nicht passenden Übersetzungen mit Sie habe ich auf Fuzzy gesetzt, damit du diese überarbeiten kannst.
Bitte beachte, dass erst ab 90 % freigegebenen Strings die Ausspielung der Übersetzungen an die Benutzer erfolgt. Daher ist hier noch ein großes Stück Arbeit zu tun.
Ein paar wenige Übersetzungen passten allerdings noch nicht hundertprozentig. Daher möchte ich an dieser Stelle gerne auf Styleguide, unser Glossar und Komposita (Durchkoppeln mit/ohne Bindestrich) hinweisen.
Wir empfehlen immer, die deutschsprachigen Strings entsprechend zu erstellen, um den Nutzern des Plugins eine möglichst hochwertige, professionelle und konsistente Lokalisierung zu bieten.
Das Polyglots-Team unterstützt gerne bei allen Fragen oder der Umsetzung im deutschen Slack #polyglots Channel. So tritt man dem deutschen Slack-Channel bei.

richtig, ich hatte mit der German default angefangen, da ich das andere gar nicht gesehen habe. Alphabetisch stand es nämlich nicht unter “G” sondern ganz unten.
Das Übersetzungen teilweise nicht passen ist ja verständlich da ich nicht weiß, in welchem Bezug oder Kontext das Übersetzte steht. Die deutsche Sprache ist genau wie im Englischen vielfältig, und manchmal passt ein anderes Wort besser als das Übersetzte, ersichtlich erst dann, wenn man eben den Kontext kennt.
Wenn etwas nicht passt, stehe ich gerne dafür gerade und justiere nach.
