Hi!
When the words Get Directions (Itinéraire) and Place an Order (Commander) will be translated in french?
Thanks!

Hi evo252,
We don’t handle the translations of plugins directly. What we do do, however, is ensure that the plugin’s strings are localized/internationalized, so they become translatable. The actual translations are contributed by the WordPress community. You can view or contribute to the translations of this plugin here: https://translate.ww.wp.xz.cn/projects/wp-plugins/business-profile/
Ok, how to search through the translations to check if those ones have already been translated, I don’t find any search bar?
Thanks
Hi evo252,
You would need to choose which release you want to modify (for example, the stable release: https://translate.ww.wp.xz.cn/projects/wp-plugins/business-profile/stable/fr/default/) and then click the Filter button and there you will find a search bar.
Thanks a lot! I saw that translations have already been suggested several years ago, so when the translations will be available?
That has nothing to do with us. Community translations need to be approved by a validator. More information can be found here: https://translate.wordpress.com/validation-process/
You can get in touch with them here: https://wordpress.com/forums/forum/translations/
Very strange, so there is no way to display the french words? Because 90% of the content is showing in french except those words…
To get those strings approved as quickly as possible, please reach out to a validator.
Alternatively, you can update the voluntarily provided translations located in the plugin’s languages folder. Using a tool like PoEdit will allow you to implement the changes on your site. More information can be found here: https://doc.fivestarplugins.com/plugins/business-profile/user/labelling/translating
How to reach out a validator? It seems to be a tedious process :/
If I update the translation by myself, this one will be erased in case of update, right?
Thanks for your help!
As mentioned previously, you can get in touch with them here: https://wordpress.com/forums/forum/translations/. Again, this has nothing to do with us and we cannot help with this.
Yes about the uploaded translations. We recommend backing up your translations in case you need to re-upload them after updating the plugin, since changes to plugin files will indeed get overwritten after updates.
