%s is a placeholder for a variable. If a string would say The event %s has been published. then this placeholder will be replaced with the name you gave this specific event.

If you can find that specific string at https://translate.ww.wp.xz.cn/projects/wp-plugins/the-events-calendar/stable/sv/default/ then the expandable “References” value will have a link to where this string is used in the plugin’s code. That may help you to figure out what the plugin is doing.

Also, search in Loco for strings like “Event”, “event”, ” event “, etc. and make sure they are translated in your project.

And/or wait for someone from the plugin owner to chime in here. (I’m not related to this plugin in any way.)

But the initial Swedish language pack will get generated only when the translation of the stable branch of the plugin reaches at least 90% of all strings (i.e. with 3478 strings in the plugin, 3131 strings need to be translated and approved, so some 700-800 strings more are needed).
