You can update the translation strings directly from the block settings, as shown in the screenshot here: https://tinyurl.com/2cq6mj4e.
While checking the search block, we also noticed a compatibility issue that was affecting upon changing the text. Our developers have already fixed this, and the improvements will be included in the upcoming update.

Indeed, the page has a bug. I was only able to change the first word.
