Este tema viene por defecto inglés. Pero yo lo acabo de desinstalar al ver una frase en su traducción.
Tienes un archivo .pot que puedes localizar por FTP (wp-content/themes/yourtheme/lang/). El problema es cuando lo estas traduciendo y te aparece en la útima frase este texto ” I’m a theme meant for hacking so don’t use me as a Parent Theme”. —> Soy un tema pensado para piratería, así que no me uses como tema principal.
Normalmente se traduce previa descarga por FTP (wp-content/themes/yourtheme/lang/) el archivo .po o .pot del tema y se asigna en este caso el idioma ES_ES y se crean los archivos es_ES.po y es_ES.mo que luego los vuelves a subir a la misma ruta de idiomas (puede ser por ejemplo lang o language, dentro de tu tema). Yo los suelo traducir con PoEdit.

This theme comes by default English. But I´ve just uninstalled it after seeing a suspicious phrase in its translation file.
There is a .pot file that you can locate by FTP (wp-content / themes / yourtheme / lang /). The problem comes when you are translating and appears this text last sentence “I’m a theme meant for hacking so do not use me as a Parent Theme”. —> I am a theme designed for piracy, so I do not use as the main theme.
It is usual translating the file downloadable by FTP on (wp-content / themes / yourtheme / lang /) .pot .po format. In your case you´ll create language files es_ES.po es_ES.mo and will uploaded again to the same directory where yo have previously donwloaded the example or defaoult file. I usually translate the themes which not have spanish files with a program called PoEdit.
So that line (”I’m a theme meant for hacking so do not use me as a Parent Theme.”) comes from Underscores which is a starter theme by Automattic (makers of WordPress). Hiero is based on Underscores and uses the .pot file for Underscores, hence why the line is there.
Hacking in this case means modifying. The theme (Underscores) is meant to be used as a starting point for new theme designs (as it was with Hiero). Hope this helps explain.

I´ve uploaded the translation files to wp-content/themes/hiero/lang/ but your theme is still shown in English. Even though I like very much this theme, i´m not going to use it by the moment because menu tabs aren´t deployed properly in my web http://www.aitorlarumbe.com when I minimize it to mobile phone width.
