    shortcodes-ultimate.4.10.2 translation possible using .mo files
    shortcodes-ultimate.5.0.0+ no translation possible using

    shortcodes-ultimate-de_DE.mo in folder
    shortcodes-ultimate/languages/

    Tested with WordPress 4.9.4, 4.8.5, 4.7

    Try to move the .mo file to /wp-content/languages/plugins/.
