• I am having an issue on a site that I am trying to translate into Russian. Specifically on the checkout sequence, some of the fields are not being translated, despite following instructions from woocommerce (https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/woocommerce-localization). I’ve downloaded the Russian .po .mo files and added them to the site’s directory via FTP to the location stated, however still seeing untranslated fields.

  • The above method can be tricky. Instead, try the Loco Translate plugin.

    At Dashboard > Loco Translate > Plugins > WooCommerce > Russian > Edit, first click the “Sync” button to ensure you have all the strings, then use the “Filter” button to find the string that’s not translating.
