I just installed this plugin on my testing platform for experiments and deleted german (used language) .PO file and…
…amazing result – several parts of this plugin are still translated.
So, it looks like it does not get the translation information from .PO file.
Is this a bug or how can i complete my translation?
Need a bit help please.

Hi,
The plugin itself provides .po and .mo files for the translation, so you won’t need to create only .po files.
Also, please have a look at the how WordPress search for the translations in the directory. You would also see that the plugin translations would appear in wp-content/plugins/languages folder.
If you are facing any technical difficulties in Pro plugin, you could also raise a support ticket from our website.
Thanks

Hello and thank you for response,
i did not created .po files.
I used already existing file for german translation from
“wp-content/plugins/lgdpr-cookie-consent/languages” folder and translated some parts using POEdit Software.
But changes i made in this file do not have any effect on the translation.
Thats why i do not understand how to complete my translation now.
🙁

Hi,
Thanks for your reply.
If you want to add your custom translations to the plugin, you could use the .pot file for generating translation .po and .mo files. It would also update the existing .po and .mo files in the plugin. Please follow the naming conventions for the generated .po and .mo files.
If possible could you please provide more detailed information about your website, so that we can look into the issue.
Thanks
