    Hi per4mance,
oh thanks a lot, I completely missed to make this plugin fully translateable. Right now, you will have to go into the PHP files. Which language do you need to add? Since its not a lot of strings, it would be great, if you could pass them to me and I will integrate this strings as a language file in the next (translateable) version.

    Thank you!

    Hi websupporter,

Sorry for my late answer. I was on holiday for a few days.

I wanted to add German. How do I add Strings? Normally I use poeditor for edit po-files.

    Best Regards,
    Thorsten

    Hi Thorsten,
yes, thats the way, but the plugin was not completly ready for you.

The current development version (https://downloads.wp.xz.cn/plugin/buddypress-desktop-notification.zip) is ready to be translated and – tata – has already a German translation file.

Well, basically, the plugin has only one string to be translated:
%s hat Dir eine Nachricht geschickt.

Feel free to try the development version and tell me if it works for you.

    All the best,
    David.

    Hi David,

now tested your plugin a lot as an admin on my social network site (WordPress/Buddypress).

Language file works great now. Unfortuneatly I get as an admin all notifications from all users although it does not affect me.

If User A views User B, I get a hint. If I like a commentary or do something else, I get a hint of the action of myself. Did you knew this?

    It’s a bit tiresome.

    Best Regards,
    Thorsten
