Translation with WPML

Hi there,

need help with translation with WPML.

How could i get a translated version of both Custom Home Pages?

For now it is not possible to change the Custom Home Page for example for German and English. If i write for example the text for Call out it can´t be changed on the Visual Editor for both languages.

I do two pages. 1 for german and 1 for english but it won´t work.

Did i do something wrong , please help me.

Can I get your current website URL so I will give you more explanation about the WPML plugin and will understand which theme is integrated with your current website?

Hello Martin,

Thank you for sharing me the information. I have reviewed it and would like and also discussed with my technical team. My expertise team member would suggest me and told me that. The plugin is not properly integrated with website.

Suggestion:

– Check all the WPML component have installed properly.
– You can go with following link

Hi Madvin,

i have installed all componetnt of wpml yesterday. Today it´s not in my webpage installed because of the issue that the custom home page could not be translated.

I integrated yesterday following plugins for WPML:

sitepress-multilingual-cms
wpml-string-translation
wpml-theme-tester
wpml-translation-management

First issue after installing and aktivating the wpml plugins was that all pages and posts are gone away.

Only the refresh of WPML data base entrys of a language could bring the pages back. After that i translated some strings and then i wanted to translate the custom home page.

Hi,

please tell me how to translate the custome home page with wpml.

I do following:

1. Install all 3 wpml plugins

2. do 2 custom home pages (1 for german and 1 for english)

3. Customy the home page with visual editor

Result:

nothing works, the custom home page is for both languages the same language, it is not possible to get two different custom home pages for both languages.

Do i something wrong?
Please tell me how i could manage this. Thank you
