Also, second quick question. When I change my max width, the slideshow stops centering and moves left..how can I fix this?
PAR
Hi PAR,
I’m sorry, the transparent text boxes are inside the slides and therefore animate along with however the current slide animates. Taking them out of the slides would be possible, but it would mean that they’re not animated any longer.
Are you using the slideshow’s newest version? Some versions between the release of 2.2.0 and 2.2.10 have a centering bug. The newest version should work alright (2.2.11). If you do have the newest version, could I please see your website?
Best regards,
Stefan
Hi Stefan,
Thank you for your quick reply.
That’s ok..even if we can’t change the type of animation to a fade, it could work for us if we can just take them out and just have the text showing with no animation. Which file can I edit this in?
And yeah I installed it just a couple days ago so it should be the newest..but sure! Here is the current site: http://www.p-ar.com/wptest
Thank you for checking up on this,
PAR
Hi PAR,
You can find the template for the image slides here: ‘wp-content/plugins/slideshow-jquery-image-gallery/views/SlideshowPluginSlideshowSlide/frontend_attachment.php‘. Lines 59 through 62 make up the description box.
The slideshow looked centered before adding the maximum width, because it was stretched to the sides of the browser window. If you want to center a slideshow on your page, have a look at this support thread.
Best regards,
Stefan
Hi Stefan,
Thank you! That most certainly worked! Sorry I had to re-ask the question (hard to search in the forum).
I’ll take a crack at the description box and let you know if I have any questions.
Best Regards,
PAR
