    Wonderful plugin!
    I cannot save entries with dates prior to the current date. The date picker is greyed out for prior dates and manually entering them doesn’t work.
    I would also like to use this as a teaching aid. Is it possible to set historical dates in the travel details? (eg 1600, 1750 etc.)

    That’s a good point. I will remove the date limit in the next version, so you can manually enter any historical dates you want. There should be an update ready in the next few days that will fix this.

    I’ve applied the update and the date settings work in the editor, but the map view from the shortcode shows today’s date for arrival and departure.

    Sorry about that. It turns out the wp function I use to convert dates for the map on the front-end starts to return the current date when the year starts to get around 1910. I don’t understand why it does that, and wasn’t aware of it. But will look for another solution.
