    Hello,

Since I have installed this good plugin, the user that visit the page and complete some action (like lead form completed) if they do not accept or refuse the cookie (let’s say if they do not read your banner) are not tracked.

This creates me problem for my ads, because FB detects few conversion so it think ads are not good, which is not true.

Any way to fix this problem?

    Hi @mirunchained,

If I understand correctly, you’re ads are running on conversion rate optimalization, or optimizing for a low CpC?

I would expect Facebook includes general metrics for AdBlockers/Consent Management to compensate for this matter, but I’m not sure.

There’s no difference for tracking between refusing and not making a choice at all.

Could you share your URL? Maybe I can help out, but if this is purely a matter of the pixel not being fired, disabling the Facebook integration is the only option.

    regards Aert

    Hello, url is https://sportconsulting.agency/

What do I need (to make it clear)?

I wish despite a user who does not accept the cookie banner or does not read the banner but he/she completes the form, event custom conversion Facebook Pixel track as +1.

Before I activated this plugin it worked correctly.

    Thanks

    Hi @mirunchained,

I visited your site and I see that you are situated in the EU. The GDPR/ePrivacy directive requires you to ask for opt-in before enabling tracking scripts like a Facebook Pixel. If a visitor does not interact with the banner, it has not provided this opt-in.

Common practice with websites that serve ads (and terefor heavily rely on opt-in) is what we call a ‘soft cookie wall’. Unlike cookie walls (which are not allowed), the user is still able to deny cookies or to dismiss the banner, but as it covers a large part of the screen, you will reduce the percentage of users that haven’t interacted with the banner.

You can find the soft cookie wall setting under Complianz -> cookie banner.

    I hope this helps.

    Regards,
    Leon
