• Hi, I installed Complianz in my Woocommerce site and installed Google tag manager under Complianz(GDPR settings). I wish to create Google ads conversion tracking to track purchases by using Google tag manager. I created tag and now I just wondering what should I use as an trigger, does custom events from this guide https://complianz.io/definitive-guide-to-tag-manager-and-complianz/ help or should I just use page view? Is it possible to get conversion value while you are using Compilianz?

If needed, can you use All Pages trigger or should you use Complianz’s own triggers?

    Hi @ukunsa,

As Complianz’s triggers only work for consent event, not WooCommerce Events you can’t use only Complianz events for this purpose.

I would suggest using your desired events for WooCommerce, and an exception with a Complianz consent event like cmplz_event_marketing.

In that case, the conversion will trigger on a purchase, by way of a pageview ‘purchase-confirmation’ for example, only if consent is set to ‘Marketing’.

There are several ways to go about this, but I hope the above is enough to get started. Let me know if you have more questions.

Maybe you can use this article as well; https://complianz.io/using-exceptions-in-tag-manager-based-on-consent-status/

    regards Aert
