Trigger Symbol "arrows" problem

    I’ve tested it locally and it worked. Is there some website where I can test?

    Semes like a website coding problem, is it made on utf8?

    Unfortunately, the website is only local for now. It is an ugrade to WP 4.1.1. The charset of page is set to utf8, but I just come to see that some old mysql tables uses the collation latin1.
    Where are stored the settings of the widget ?

    The settings are stored just like any other widget, at wp_options table.

    The table use the latin1 collation. This might explain our problem.
