I was using your plugin here in my site https://parkpreneurs.com/

After updating it to 1.8.5 it triggered Fatal Error like below.

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected ‘[‘ in /home/parkpren/public_html/wp-content/plugins/events-made-easy/eme_rsvp.php on line 2679.

Also Checkout this error in this screenshot http://prntscr.com/fikpgj

So I rolled back to old version. Please fix it so that I can update it.

    Thanks

Which php version are you using? php 4 is no longer supported.

Ok. I updated my phpversion to 5.6 and now it’s working.. But I think it should work also with 5.3 as it is not that old version.

    Anyway, thanks for help

1.8.7 worked around this “problem”, so your update was not really needed (although php 5.3 is from 2009, and that’s considered old …).
    5.3.29 was maintained until 14 Aug 2014, see http://php.net/eol.php
