    I’ve recently taken over a site that uses WPTE and it was still in version 1.6. I’ve cloned the site onto a dev site and I updated everything as well as WPTE to the latest version. One thing I notice is that version 1.6 supported custom trip tabs that could be added to trips. The current version of WPTE also supports trip tabs and when I go to TT settings, I can see the tabs that were added years ago, but they don’t show up in the trip back-end. Any new tabs I add are displayed but the old ones don’t show up. Any idea how I can fix this so that I don’t lose all the data already captured?

    Hello @dumel,

    The current version of the WPTE plugin is 5.3.9 which means your site was using a very old version of the plugin. This means there have been a lot of changes to the plugin’s features and functionalities.

    Anyway, we have migrated the Trip option added. Can you please check that?

    Thank you for that. Using the migrate option didn’t solve my issue though. I still can’t use the data used from the old trip tabs. Will this not be possible at all? Could I not do incremental updates of the plugin?

    Hello @dumel,

    I am sorry this didn’t solve the issue. I am afraid that you might need to add those data again.

    Anyway, have you checked if those tabs are Enabled/Disabled via WP Travel Engine settings.

    Anyway, if you would like to switch back to any of the previous versions then you can use the WP Rollback plugin.

    Further, I would like you to keep on updating the themes/plugins whenever there is an update available.

    That’s a handy plugin that I didn’t know about, thank you. Do you know when the trip tabs feature had its major change to the newer way of doing things? I have no idea how far I should roll back, although the roll-back plugin only goes back to version 4.2.

    Hello @dumel,

    You can try updating from version 4.2 onwards as well.

    There was a major update with versions 4.3.0 5.0 and 5.2.
