WhatsApp and SMS buttons are “smart” ie. they are designed to only show when a visitor is on a supported mobile devices since these are mobile-specific services. If you visit your site on a desktop, they won’t show. This optimization happens automatically for you, so you don’t have to worry about it!

But what about minimizing size of buttons? I changed the size, and also disabled the counter, and saved the settings, but the original size and the share counts still show up.

Are you not seeing the same? If not, try clearing your browser cache to see if that fixes things. Let me know!

Thank you very much again. I checked between my laptop at home and my desktop at work and the small buttons show up on the desktop and the large buttons on the laptop, interestingly. I will leave it at that.
As for the counter, I realized indeed that G+ always has that 1 attached to it.
