I have downloaded really-simple-ssl.9.1.3 and I’m trying to install it. I get an error
The PHP function CURL is not available on your server, which is required. Please contact your hosting provider.
I am the hosting provider so I checked and I already have php74-curl already installed. why doesn’t it pick up on this? Isn’t this the correct version?
I have php 7.4 and wordpress 6.7.1 installed. thanks – Dean Guenther

    Hi @deanrguenther.

You can start by checking what WordPress reports about the cURL version on your server, under Tools -> Site Health -> “Info” tab -> Server, to check if WordPress itself does recognize cURL as being available. If the expected cURL version does not appear here either, this is also why the plugin doesn’t detect it.

You might still have to manually enable the CURL extension in your PHP configuration (and restart the server), as described here: https://stackoverflow.com/a/42343466

    Kind regards, Jarno
