    Hey all,

I have been trying to set up an RSS-driven campaign through MailChimp so new posts can be emailed to my subscribers. However, I am running into the following errors:

http://sureenjoyedit.com/feed/ is not a valid RSS feed.(I have also tried every other combination of possible feed URL’s listed here under Finding Your Feed URL.

Then I read something about going through Feedburner. But I receive this error message there:
The URL does not appear to reference a valid XML file. We encountered the following problem: Error on line 1: Attribute name “async” associated with an element type “script” must be followed by the ‘ = ‘ character.

I have read countless forums trying to find the answer to this issue but none seem to work for me. When I hover over my RSS symbol on my homepage, the URL that shows up at bottom of page is sureenjoyedit.com/comments/feed, which also did not work. I have posts with working permalinks so that’s not the issue.

I am definitely not a WordPress expert! If anyone has any idea what could be causing this and how to fix it, I would appreciate some help getting all this set up. My page is http://www.sureenjoyedit.com. Thanks so much~

  • To rule out a plugin-related issue, temporarily disable all your plugins, empty your browser and server caches, and try again.

To rule out a theme-related issue, temporarily switch to the default TwentyFifteen theme, empty your browser and server caches, and try again.

Thanks, kjodle! Disabling the plug-ins seem to have worked.
