Trouble with Attachments

I’ve got a new multisite setup with the KnowAll theme/knowledge base. Most things seem to work just fine, except attachments.

https://saylentdocs.wpengine.com/knowledge-base/fstsfjdfjfj/ and https://coop.saylentdocs.wpengine.com/knowledge-base/fstsfjdfjfj/ are linked (coop is the child)

the attachment gets properly copied over to the child site, and *an* attachment gets added but it’s not the right one. I’ve tracked it down to a postmeta field _ht_knowledge_base_file_advanced where it seems the knowledge base is storing the id’s of attachments it needs to link to, but those id’s aren’t the same across installs.

Has anyone ever worked around something like this? I suppose, in theory, if I did a clean install and then never touched the child sites the id’s could be in sync, but I doubt that’s going to happen
