Where are you trying to install it? What problems are you having? What have you tried so far?

You’ll need to use something like WAMP to install the server software on your comptuer to run WordPress. some instructions here:

Just to be sure that you understand the way that WordPress works (as it is different to “standard” software), if you want to have a public blog then you’ll need to install the WordPress files on a web server somewhere. Then everything is done through your website.
If WAMP gives you any difficulties try microsoft webmatrix. In order to get WAMP to fire up on my local machine I had to edit a few files and I forget which ones. Webmatrix my slow down your PC some but I used ti to build a joomla site and 5 wordpress sites.
