trying to delete a comment box

    on the very front page of my site, on the bottom, it has a giant comment box. it says-

    Leave a Reply
    Logged in as admin. Log out?
    Comment

    i want to get rid of it but i cant figure out how. im using the elegantwhite template. help?

    and also, the template sets the page buttons at the very top, above the header. is there any way to move them to below the header?

    From the posts page you can click quick edit on a specific post and then un-check the “allow comments” check box to disable comments on a specific post.

    If you want to remove comments from all posts and pages you can edit your theme and remove :

    <?php if ( comments_open() ) : ?>
    <?php comments_template(); ?>

    <?php endif; ?>

    from single.php and page.php

    i dont have any actual posts or comments up. i want to get rid of the entire comment box and its surrounding text itself. what html text exactly do i get rid of to do that?

    also, i want to move the navigation buttons down to below the header and also get rid of the little facebook logo up top
