trying to import content

Ok, I’ve tried the html importer 2 plugin several times with different tags to try and pull my content in a copy of my static content website to my localhost site to test. Posted this to another forum post for html importer several days ago but received no response.
When it is run all it does is pull in the menu and links on each page and no content whatsoever. After each attempt, I then use bulk delete to delete the pages and try again. I’ve tried tags that appear to be around the content – <div id=”rightcont”> but it only pulls in the menu and links and not the content in the middle of the page.
I’m thinking at this point that I’m going to have to copy and paste to get the content unless anyone knows of another plugin or way to do it.
