Which hack are you referring to? Are you trying to make a plugin for 1.2?
Where can I find the documentation for plugin development for 1.2?
prara, it’s in progress. I’ve been asked to write something up, I intend to. However it won’t be until Tuesday evening or Wednesday when I can. (it’s finals week)
If your lucky, someone will write up some documentation before then and put it on wiki. If not, something will be up on Tuesday or Wednesday by me.
Until then, you will just have to browse some of the plugins that have already been created for examples of how to develop them.

I’d really like this as a plugin, so that I don’t have to modify the existing function every time I upgrade. That is becoming a pain and half the time, I somehow end up replacing it back to the default.
