Strange thing just happened to me. I just brought a website I was working on out from behind a subdomain and switched it over to my live server zentro.com.au and I can’t see the checkbox option to Use reCAPTCHA version 1 – surprisingly the plugin has taken the liberty to run the plugin in version 1 mode and does not let me change that option.

I’ve just tested it on my production site vs the live site and can see that option clearly missing.

How do I get your plugin to show the new version of ReCaptcha? The old one renders quite badly on my website.

Can you check the PHP version of your live server?

Yep, you hit the nail on the head with the proverbial hammer. I was trying to activate the BackupWordpress plugin and it was telling me that my hosting server was running PHP version 5.2.x.x, so I upgraded it to PHP 5.4

I hadn’t gone back to check the contact form yet. Just did and it now displays perfectly.
Thanks for letting me know what was causing it. I assumed it was a difference between hosting environments, just could not pinpoint it.
