Hello Burria,

I’m pleased with your work and sofar Laika is very much of my likings and seems to be fit for use.

I’m not a hardcore coder so in this case it seems to be very fitting :-).

Anyway, I was wondering if I’m doing something wrong with the following.
Firstly I created a blank page, after that I copied the ID in the field “ID of the archive”.
I’ve created a few pets and I do see them nicely on the “blank page”.

However, I am missing the Pet’s name (underneath or above the thumbnail).
I’ve uploaded an example here:

I would like to see the pet names, do you have an idea how I can see them? I’m using WP twentyseventeen theme, perhaps that that’s something you want to know as well.

PS:
I’ve been wondering about the use of manually adding the ID’s of new pets.
Since you’ve added the names behind the unique identifier (see image below), I was wondering if it’s not logically you automatically pick an ID? Since the names are easily to spot.

Anyway, keep up the good work, looking forward to your response!

Kind Regards,
Ruupster.

Hi @ruupster, thank you for your support.

This probably is a theme issue. Please can you check this:

-Try to select into the white space, maybe the color of the links are white
-In chrome Ctr+u and then Ctr+f and input/search =
nameofyourmascot

Do you use the default CSS in laika settings?

About automatically adding the ID’s could work, but this way let you write a non existing ID for the parent and then when you create the parent you can give to him that ID.

Hey @burria,

Yep, found it.
I’ve editted the twentyseventeen theme with https://nl.ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/advanced-twenty-seventeen/
to give it some aditional features. (Have created a seperate child theme).

It’s visible when I swapped back to the original theme.

I think I know were to look now, thanks for your quick reply in insights 😀

Kind regards,
