Turn off your notifications?

    I would like to be able to use another plugin for user notifications. When I try to use the plugin, Better Notifications for WordPress, for the registration emails, I still get both of your plugin’s emails and their admin notification, but not their user notification. Is there some small piece of code I could add as a customization to turn off your notifications?

    Hi Judy,

    There is no way to do that at the moment.
    Is it all or just some of our emails you want to disable?

    Would like to disable them all in favor of the other plugin: Better Notifications for WordPress by “Made with Fuel” https://ww.wp.xz.cn/plugins/bnfw/

    What is happening now is that I get the UserWP notifications for new user registration (user and admin) and their Admin new user registration, but not their user registration email. If I could turn the UsersWP messages all off and allow the Better Notifications… to take control, it would work best for me.

    Hi Judy,

    I am unfamiliar with that plugin and what it is supposed to do.
    We send custom notifications not just the user registration ones so i think users would just not get the emails if we just disabled it all.

    We dont have any hooks to turn off all notifications at the moment and i’m not sure it is a good idea but we could maybe add filters to be able to disable individual emails.

    Hey Stiofan,

    My client just wants to turn off notifications for new user registration only (for users). Is there a way to achieve that?

    At the moment as Stiofan explained, there is no way to disable any notification.

    We took note of the request and we’ll probably add the hooks in a future release.
