    Hello,

When I install the TutorStarter theme, then asks me to install the Tutormate plugin. This installs perfectly. The problem arises when I go to the “Tutor Starter” section to install the templates. There, the “General” and “Starter Site” options don’t appear, but instead, it asks me to install the “One-Click Demo Import” plugin. If I install this plugin, I can see the templates.

When I import the “Maktetplace” demo, it only installs Tutor LMS and Elementor. Then I get a message saying it hasn’t been fully installed. When I preview the site, not all the features and images that appear in the demo are displayed. Could you help me with this? Thank you in advance.

    Kind Regards,

    Antonia

  • Hello @antoniapizzi ,

Thank you for reaching out and providing the details.

To resolve the issue, could you please try the following steps:

    1. Delete the TutorStarter theme completely from your site.
    2. Reinstall the theme from scratch using the original theme file.
    3. Once reinstalled, go to the Tutor Starter section and try importing the template again.

This should ensure all necessary dependencies and demo content are correctly set up. If the issue still persists after doing this, please let us know—we’ll be happy to assist you further.

    Kind regards,

    Sunjida

    Hi Sinjida,

Thanks for your reply. I followed your recommendation, but the problem persists. Is there another solution?

It gives an error and tells me I need to install the “One Click Demo Import” plugin. Even after installing the latter, the installation fails, saying it couldn’t be installed correctly.

    Kind Regards,

    Antonia

    Hello Antonia,

    Thank you for your update.

I’ve tested the setup on my end, and everything is working correctly. To better assist you, could you please share a screenshot showing the exact error message you’re seeing?

Also, kindly confirm whether the images and layout are loading properly on the frontend, even if the demo import reports an issue. Sometimes partial imports may still render some content correctly.

Once I have more details, I’ll be able to guide you further.

    Kind regards,
    Sunjida

    Hi Sunjida,

I’ve re-done everything, and the problem persists. I’ve spoken with my hosting provider, Hostinger, and they say everything is fine and that there shouldn’t be any problems uploading Tutor Starter and Tutor Mate correctly. I’ve taken some screenshots, but I can’t upload them here. Is there another way I can send them to you?

    Kind Regards,

    Antonia

    Hello Antonia,

I am really sorry for the late response.

To better understand the issue, could you please clarify how exactly the error is showing on your end?

Also, since you’re unable to upload the screenshots here, you can use snipboard.io to share them with us. Just upload the screenshot on that site and share the generated link with us.

That will help me investigate the issue more accurately and assist you accordingly.

    Looking forward to your response!

    Kind regards,
    Sunjida
